UMA Racing Quick Throttle Premium (Chrome Edition) is a high-precision mechanical upgrade designed to drastically shorten the rotation required to reach full throttle.
By increasing the diameter of the internal pulley, this “Quick Action” throttle allows you to go from Zero to 100% Open with a much smaller flick of the wrist. This is a vital upgrade for track racers and spirited street riders who want to eliminate the awkward “re-gripping” often required by slow factory throttles during hard acceleration.

Performance Advantage
On a standard motorcycle, the throttle often requires a 90-degree (or more) rotation to fully open the carburetor or throttle body. In a racing scenario, this forces the rider to drop their elbow or shift their hand position mid-acceleration. The UMA Racing Quick Throttle reduces this angle significantly, allowing you to stay tucked behind the fairings while maintaining total control over the power delivery.
Installation Guidelines
Check Cable Slack: After installation, ensure there is a small amount of “freeplay” in the cable. A throttle cable that is too tight can cause the engine RPM to rise dangerously when the handlebars are turned fully to the left or right.
Smooth Return Test: With the engine OFF, twist the throttle to full open and let go. The grip should “snap” back to the closed position instantly. If it drags or hangs up, check for interference with the bar-end weights or the grip rubber.
Lube the Cable: For the best possible feel, take a moment to apply a thin coating of cable lubricant to the inner wire before seating it into the new UMA chrome housing.
Route Safely: Ensure the throttle cable is routed away from hot engine components (like the exhaust header) and isn’t pinched by the fork legs during full suspension travel.
