The UMA Racing Premix Radiator Coolant is a high-performance cooling fluid specifically formulated for high-revving, liquid-cooled engines. While many standard coolants use a 50:50 ratio, UMA utilizes a 40:60 (Antifreeze to Water) ratio, optimized specifically for tropical climates like Bangladesh and racing conditions where heat dissipation is more critical than extreme freeze protection.
It is the perfect companion for the UMA 280ml High-Performance Radiator or any stock cooling system that needs a boost in thermal efficiency.
Key Features
-
Optimized 40:60 Premix: This specific ratio is designed to provide maximum thermal conductivity. Since water is actually better at absorbing and carrying heat than glycol (antifreeze), the 60% water content ensures faster heat transfer away from the cylinder head.
-
High Boiling Point: Formulated to resist boiling even under the intense pressure of racing engines. This prevents “cavitation” (air bubbles) in the water pump, which can cause sudden overheating.
-
Anti-Corrosion Additives: Contains specialized inhibitors that prevent rust, scale, and “sludge” build-up inside the aluminum cooling fins and water jackets.
-
Lubrication for Water Pump: Includes additives that lubricate the mechanical seals of the water pump, extending the life of your engine’s internal cooling hardware.
-
Ready-to-Use: Being a Premix, you do not need to add water. Adding tap water can introduce minerals that clog your radiator over time; this bottle is poured directly into the system.

Why 40:60 instead of 50:50?
Most “off-the-shelf” coolants are designed for cars in cold climates (Europe/USA) where preventing the radiator from freezing is the priority. In performance motorcycling:
-
Heat Transfer is King: In places like Bangladesh, the Philippines, Malaysia, or Thailand, you don’t need protection against -30 degree weather. You need to get heat out of the engine as fast as possible.
-
Less Glycol = Better Cooling: Glycol is thick. By reducing the glycol percentage slightly (to 40%), the coolant flows faster through the radiator’s narrow channels, improving the “heat exchange” rate.
Usage Pro-Tips
-
Flush First: For the best results, drain your old coolant and flush the system with distilled water before pouring in the UMA Premix. This ensures no old mineral deposits contaminate the new fluid.
-
Don’t Top Up with Water: If your coolant level drops, top it up with the same UMA Premix. Adding plain water will dilute the 40:60 ratio and reduce the anti-corrosion protection.
-
Capacity Note: An Aerox or NMAX V2 with a UMA 280ml radiator plus the internal engine capacity will usually take approx. 800ml to 900ml, making this 1L bottle the perfect size for a full refresh.
FAQs
Do I need to add water?
No. This is pre-mixed and ready to use.
Can I use it on Aerox / NMAX / R15?
Yes, suitable for most liquid-cooled motorcycles using compatible coolant specs.
Why not use plain water?
Water lacks rust inhibitors and proper boil protection. Coolant protects the full system.
