RCB S1 Adjustable Folding Clutch Lever is a premium, race-ready mechanical cable clutch assembly engineered to deliver unparalleled ergonomics and durability.

As part of RCB’s top-tier S1 Series, this universal perch replaces your weak, non-adjustable factory clutch setup. It is designed for sportbikes, high-displacement naked motorcycles, and custom street builds requiring precise, effortless clutch modulation and a high-end racing aesthetic.

Key Features

  • Forged Aluminum Architecture: The structural body is forged under intense pressure from high-tensile alloy, creating an ultra-dense material grain structure. This completely eliminates lever flex, providing a rock-solid, incredibly direct clutch actuation feel.

  • Dual-Direction Folding Blade: Equipped with a heavy-duty mechanical pivot hinge. In the event of an accidental low-side crash or a simple parking lot tip-over, the lever blade folds upward up to 90 degrees. This absorbs the kinetic force to prevent snapping the lever off, ensuring you aren’t left stranded on the road or track.

  • Indexed Dial-Adjustable Reach: Features a precise click-dial adjuster that allows you to easily change the distance between the handlebar grip and the lever blade. This customizable positioning accommodates all hand sizes and glove thicknesses.

  • Aerodynamic Speed Vent Slot: The tip of the forged blade features a CNC-machined cutout that minimizes air drag at ultra-high track velocities, preventing wind pressure from inducing unwanted clutch slippage.

  • Glove-Friendly Quick Tension Wheel: Outfitted with an oversized, knurled cable tension wheel. This allows you to make rapid, toolless on-the-fly adjustments to your clutch cable freeplay directly from the saddle.

  • Eliminated Vertical Slack: Manufactured with exceptionally tight tolerances at the pivot point, eliminating the sloppy vertical wobble common in OEM levers for a highly refined, premium pull.

Symmetrical Styling Note

If you have upgraded your front brake system to an aftermarket radial master cylinder (such as the RCB S1, S2, or E-Series), installing the RCB S1 Clutch Perch on the left side is essential to restoring perfect visual balance. It mirrors the exact design lines, anodized finish texture, and ergonomics of your upgraded brake master cylinder for a factory-team dashboard look.

Installation Guidelines

  1. Thoroughly Lubricate the Cable: Before securing your existing clutch cable into the new S1 perch, clean the cable tip and spray a dedicated cable lubricant down the outer sleeve. This results in an incredibly smooth, feather-light clutch action.

  2. Set Proper Cable Freeplay: Use the knurled tension wheel to ensure there is always a tiny amount of slack (typically 2 to 3mm of freeplay at the lever pivot) when the clutch is fully released. Running a cable too tight will cause the clutch to slip, prematurely wearing down your friction plates.

  3. Torque Clamp Safely: Mount the perch to your 22mm handlebars and tighten the clamp bolts to standard specifications (typically 8 to 10 Nm). Pro Tip: Do not over-tighten; the perch should be snug enough to hold firm during normal riding, but loose enough to rotate slightly on the bar under a heavy crash impact rather than snapping.
