Recommended Additional Upgrades
RCB S2 V2 Footrest (Full Set) is a premium aftermarket adjustable back-step system designed specifically for the Suzuki GSX-150 platform (GSX-R150 and GSX-S150). Precision CNC-machined from high-strength aerospace alloy, the S2 V2 shifts your foot positioning higher and further backward. This adjustment drastically improves lean angles for cornering, aggressive track ergonomics, and high-speed machine control.
The Silver color variant highlights a raw, high-tech mechanical aesthetic that pairs seamlessly with the Suzuki frame and engine casing.
Key Features
-
Premium CNC Billet Construction: Milled entirely from 6063-T6 high-grade solid aluminum blocks, delivering superior structural rigidity, exceptional strength, and massive weight reduction compared to heavy cast-metal factory brackets.
-
Fully Adjustable Racing Geometry: Features multi-position mounting grids, allowing you to tailor the exact height and rearward distance of the footpegs to match your height, riding style, or track requirements.
-
High-Grip Knurled Footpegs: Deeply textured anti-slip footpegs provide exceptional boot traction, keeping your feet firmly locked in place even during aggressive knee-dragging transitions or wet weather riding.
-
Integrated Control Pedals: Comes complete with a smooth-shifting gear linkage assembly and a highly responsive rear brake pedal interface featuring integrated pivot bearings for zero-play control.
-
Anodized Silver Finish: Treated with a deep, corrosion-resistant silver anodized layer that protects the raw aluminum from intense UV rays, scratches, road salt, and harsh cleaning chemicals.
-
Crash Protection Functionality: The sturdy, non-folding structural design acts as a rigid chassis slider during low-side drops, shielding the swingarm, engine cases, and frame from severe ground friction.

Installation Guideline
Due to the racing geometry of high-performance aftermarket back-steps, swapping out your stock footrests requires a few technical considerations:
-
Rear Brake Light Switch: Like most pure racing rearsets, the S2 V2 may not directly mount the mechanical pull-spring assembly of your stock rear brake light switch. Installing a universal hydraulic brake light pressure switch bolt (banjo bolt switch) on the master cylinder is highly recommended to retain standard street-legal tail-light activation.
-
Brake Reservoir & Hose Routing: Changing your foot positioning alters the angle of your rear brake master cylinder. You may need to slightly loosen, re-angle, or replace the reservoir tube to avoid kinks. Ensure the fluid reservoir tank is relocated safely using the supplied brackets.
-
Shift Linkage Set-Up: Pay close attention to the geometry of the shift rod to ensure smooth shifts. If desired, the link arm can often be flipped to achieve a GP-style reverse shift pattern (1-up, 5-down), though standard shifting is the default out-of-the-box configuration.
-
Threadlocker Application: Single-cylinder and high-revving small displacement sports bikes generate intense high-frequency vibrations. Always apply medium-strength blue threadlocker (e.g., Loctite 242) to every structural bolt during assembly to prevent the pegs or linkages from vibrating loose.
Why Upgrade to the RCB S2 V2?
-
Unlocks Maximum Lean Angle: The factory footpegs on the GSX-R150 are relatively low, causing your boots or peg feelers to scrape the asphalt early during aggressive cornering. The RCB S2 V2 moves your feet up and back, raising your cornering clearance threshold.
-
Aggressive Ergos: Tucks your knees tightly against the fuel tank recess, lowering your aerodynamic profile and significantly decreasing high-speed wind buffeting across your chest.
