The UMA Racing Dual Kit Air Filter for the Honda ADV 160, Vario 160 (Click 160), and PCX 160 is a performance-focused induction upgrade. These 160cc eSP+ engines are highly efficient, but the stock paper filter is designed for silence and long service intervals rather than maximum power.
This UMA kit replaces that restriction with a washable, dual-stage foam system that allows your 4-valve engine to breathe much more effectively.
Key Features
-
Dual-Layer Tuning: The kit includes two layers of specialized foam (5mm and 10mm).
-
Both Layers: Maximum protection for daily commuting and dusty roads.
-
Single Layer: Maximum airflow for racing or high-performance street builds.
-
-
eSP+ Engine Optimization: The 160cc 4-valve engine requires a specific air velocity to maintain its torque. This filter increases air volume without causing the “turbulence” often found in cheap open-type filters.
-
Reusable & Washable: Save money over the long term. Instead of buying a new Honda OEM filter every few thousand kilometers, you simply wash, dry, and re-oil these sponges.
-
Precision Fitment: Designed specifically for the 160cc airbox housing. It features a high-quality seal around the edges to ensure no “dirty air” bypasses the filter and enters your throttle body.

Performance Advantage: The 160cc Engine
The Honda 160cc eSP+ engine is sensitive to intake changes. Upgrading to the UMA Dual Kit typically results in:
-
Improved Throttle Response: The engine reaches its power band faster because it doesn’t have to “struggle” to suck air through a thick paper element.
-
Better High-End Pull: You’ll notice the bike feels less “choked” when reaching top speeds on the highway.
-
Deeper Induction Sound: It gives the airbox a slightly more aggressive “growl” without being as loud as an open filter.
Maintenance Pro-Tips
-
The Cleaning Process: Use a dedicated foam filter cleaner or mild dish soap. Never use gasoline to clean the sponges, as it will break down the glue and the foam cells.
-
Drying: Squeeze the water out (don’t wring/twist) and let it air dry completely.
-
Filter Oil is Mandatory: For the best protection, apply a light, even coat of foam air filter oil. This “tackiness” is what actually traps the microscopic dust particles that the foam alone might miss.
