UMA Racing Quick Throttle Premium Dual Cable Chrome Edition (Without Cable) – is a high-performance mechanical upgrade designed for motorcycles that require maximum throttle precision and safety.
By utilizing a larger internal pulley, this “Quick Action” system significantly reduces the degree of rotation needed to achieve a fully open throttle. The Dual Cable (Push-Pull) configuration is a critical safety and performance standard for modern fuel-injected and high-displacement motorcycles, ensuring the throttle is mechanically forced closed even if the return spring fails.

Installation Guidelines

Cable Synchronization: When installing a dual-cable system, it is vital to balance the tension between the “Push” and “Pull” cables. Incorrect tension can cause the throttle to feel heavy or prevent it from snapping back to idle.

The “Snap” Test: With the engine OFF, turn the handlebars to full lock (left and right) and snap the throttle open. It must return to the closed position instantly in all steering positions. If there is any drag, check for cable pinching or grip-end friction.

Lube is Key: For the ultimate racing feel, lightly lubricate the inner throttle cables with a dedicated silicone-based cable lube before sealing the chrome housing.
