Installation Guideline

• Degrease the Disc: Before sliding the new pads into the caliper, spray the brake disc thoroughly with a dedicated brake cleaner. Wipe away old friction glaze, dirt, or road film to prevent immediate pad contamination.

• Check Master Cylinder: Pushing the caliper pistons back in to make room for new, thick pads will cause the brake fluid level in your handlebar master cylinder to rise. Check the reservoir to ensure it doesn’t overflow onto your bike’s plastics.

• Bed-In Period (First 50–100 km): Brand new brake pads require a short “bed-in” period to match the micro-grooves of your current rotor. For the first 50 to 100 km, avoid panic-style, hard full-lock braking.
