The M6 threading spec is incredibly common across several modern motorcycle manufacturers. It serves as a direct plug-and-play fitment on:

  1. Honda Platform: Seamless integration into factory internally-threaded handlebars such as the Honda RS150R, RSX 150, CBR150R, CBR250R, Vario 160, and Click series.

  2. Universal Hollow Bars: Can be retrofitted to 22mm (7/8 inch) aftermarket hollow aluminum or steel handlebars (like Renthal or Protaper bars) using standard internal M6 expansion rubber sleeves or anchor plugs.

Installation Guidelines

  • Throttle Side Clearance Check: When mounting on the right (throttle) side, ensure there is a microscopic 1–2mm gap between the balancer inner shoulder and the rubber handle grip edge. If clamped completely flush, the balancer will pin the throttle sleeve, preventing it from snapping shut safely.

  • Threadlocker Application: Handlebars are subject to constant engine and road vibration. It is highly recommended to apply a drop of medium-strength blue threadlocker (e.g., Loctite 242) onto the threads of the M6 bolt before tightening to prevent the balancers from vibrating loose over time.
