RCB 2000mm S-Series Brake Hose is an ultra-long, high-performance universal braided stainless steel brake line engineered to replace expansion-prone rubber factory hoses. The S-Series is specifically optimized to eliminate brake lever/pedal sponginess, maximize hydraulic pressure delivery, and provide sharp, immediate braking response under heavy load or high-temperature conditions.
At an extended length of 2000mm (200cm / 2 meters), this universal hose is engineered for specialized, long-distance hydraulic routing on maxi-scooters, custom cruisers, or extended-chassis motorcycles.
Key Features
-
Zero-Expansion Braided Core: Constructed with a high-density stainless steel wire braid wrapped around a heavy-duty, low-friction inner Teflon (PTFE) core. This prevents the hose from expanding or ballooning under extreme hydraulic pressure, transferring 100% of your braking effort directly to the caliper pistons.
-
Highly Durable Protective Jacket: Outer-coated with a smooth PVC protective sleeve that safeguards your motorcycle’s paint, plastics, and frame from scratching while sealing out moisture, road grit, and debris.
-
Precision-Engineered Banjo Fittings: Equipped with premium, corrosion-resistant alloy banjo fittings built to handle high torque loads and maintain a permanent, leak-free hydraulic seal.
-
Advanced Thermal Resistance: Formulated to withstand extreme heat spikes over its long fluid run, preventing brake fade during aggressive riding, steep mountain descents, or heavy stop-and-go city traffic.
-
Universal Compatibility: Features standard 10mm (M10) banjo eyelets on both ends, allowing a seamless fit with OEM or aftermarket master cylinders and calipers from major brands like RCB, Brembo, Nissin, and ByBre.

Fitment & Application Guidelines
A 2000mm brake line is exceptionally long and requires careful measurement along the frame routing before installation. It is most commonly used for:
-
Maxi-Scooter Rear Brakes: Ideal for large-displacement maxi-scooters (such as the Yamaha NMAX, XMAX, Honda PCX, Forza, or TMAX) where the hydraulic line must travel all the way from the left-hand handlebar master cylinder, through the floorboards, to the rear wheel caliper.
-
Extended/Stretched Custom Bikes: Perfect for custom drag bikes with extended swingarms, or custom choppers/cruisers with heavily raked front ends and ultra-tall ape-hanger handlebars.
-
ATVs and UTVs: Suitable for specific rear brake layouts on quad bikes and utility vehicles requiring extra line slack to clear suspension pivot arms.
Installation Checklist
-
Hand-Thread Banjo Bolts: Always thread your banjo bolts into the master cylinder and caliper by hand first to avoid cross-threading. Ensure the angle of the hose eyelet permits a natural, un-twisted fluid path.
-
Always Use New Crush Washers: Place a fresh copper or aluminum crush washer on each side of the banjo eyelet (two per bolt) during assembly. Reusing old washers almost always leads to microscopic fluid leaks.
-
Secure Routing & Tie-Downs: Because of the 2-meter length, ensure the hose is securely fastened along the chassis using rubber-lined P-clips or zip ties. Avoid routing it near sharp chassis edges, hot exhaust pipes, or moving suspension linkages.
-
Check Full Suspension Travel: Once installed, compress the suspension fully and turn the steering lock-to-lock (if used on the front). Ensure the line does not pinch, pull taut, or sag into path of the tires.
-
Thorough Bleeding: Long lines trap more air during a fresh install. Fill the master cylinder reservoir with the manufacturer-specified brake fluid (DOT 3, DOT 4, or DOT 5.1). Bleed the system thoroughly—ideally using a vacuum bleeder—until all trapped air bubbles are completely evacuated and a firm, predictable pedal or lever feel is restored.
