S1 FL 30th Anniversary Special Edition Brake & Clutch Set
Get the Combo set for the ultimate brake system upgrade.
RCB RS1 Footrest Full Set is an elite, track-oriented adjustable back-step system engineered for premium small-to-mid displacement supersport machines like the Honda CBR150R and Honda CBR250RR.
The RS1 Series represents RCB’s flagship tier in foot control technology. It features a highly aggressive race-spec layout, an ultra-rigid construction framework, and specialized structural machining designed to maximize rider feedback and control over the chassis under extreme cornering conditions.
Key Features
-
Flagship RS1 Machining: Precision-milled via multi-axis CNC machines from premium solid billets of high-strength aerospace-grade aluminum. It offers unparalleled structural rigidity and dramatic weight reduction compared to heavy OEM cast assemblies.
-
True Race-Spec Foot Positioning: Features a multi-point adjustable mounting matrix that relocates your footpegs significantly higher and further back than standard street kits. This aggressive profile locks your knees firmly into the tank recesses for improved high-speed stability and tucking.
-
Extreme Lean Angle Clearance: Optimized to thin down the motorcycle’s lower mid-section profile, raising the ground clearance threshold to let you carry maximum speed through deep apexes without dragging your pegs or boot sliders.
-
High-Traction Solid Footpegs: Engineered with an aggressive, deeply knurled cross-hatch pattern across the peg surfaces to prevent boot slippage, ensuring rock-solid foot traction even in heavy rain or mud.
-
Zero-Play Bearing Smooth Linkages: Both the gear shifter and brake pedal pivots are equipped with premium dual miniature ball bearings, providing smooth, instantaneous, and ultra-precise mechanical operation with zero lateral play.
-
Premium Anodized Armor Coating: Hard-anodized to protect the structural alloy against corrosive elements, road salt, chemical washes, and severe UV color fading.

Installation Guidelines
Because the RS1 is an uncompromising performance kit designed to replicate professional track ergonomics, a few mechanical factors must be addressed during installation:
-
Hydraulic Brake Light Switch: Like most true competition-focused rearsets, the RS1 does not accommodate the primitive pull-spring mechanical brake light switch found on stock setups. To maintain street-legal brake light operation, you will need to install an aftermarket M10 hydraulic brake light pressure switch bolt (banjo bolt switch) onto your rear master cylinder.
-
Threadlocker Application: High-revving dual-overhead-cam (DOHC) engines like those in the CBR150R and CBR250RR generate intense, high-frequency structural harmonics. Always apply a medium-strength blue threadlocker (e.g., Loctite 242) to every single fastener on the rearsets during installation to prevent them from vibrating loose.
-
Quickshifter Setup (CBR250RR Spares): If your CBR250RR is equipped with the factory Honda Quickshifter, take extreme care when measuring and aligning the shift rod linkage geometry. The angle must sit as close to $90^\circ$ as possible to prevent missed shifts or transmission strain.
-
Brake Reservoir Alignment: Relocating the rear master cylinder changes the factory orientation of the fluid feed tube. Ensure that the soft hose running from the reservoir tank to the cylinder master body has a smooth bend with zero kinks or pinches that could restrict fluid flow.
Why the RS1 Series Exceeds Standard Kits
Standard aftermarket footrests often focus solely on cosmetic styling, but the RCB RS1 focuses entirely on structural stiffness. By eliminating the flexing common in cheaper cast or thin-plated sets, the RS1 delivers incredibly precise gear changes and highly modulated rear braking control, making a noticeable difference on both the track and the street.
