Fitment & Application Guidelines
Before purchasing a universal line, it is essential to trace and measure your motorcycle’s existing routing to confirm the 850mm length is ideal:

Front Brake Upgrade: The 850mm length is the industry standard for front brake lines on most standard commuter bikes, naked street fighters (such as the Yamaha MT-15, Suzuki Gixxer, Honda CB150R), and sport underbones.

Long-Rear Setup: Can also be utilized as a rear brake line for specific maxi-scooters or stretched custom bikes where the distance between the handlebar/foot master cylinder and the rear caliper is exceptionally long.
Installation Checklist

Banjo Bolt Alignment: Thread the banjo bolts by hand into the master cylinder and caliper to prevent cross-threading. Ensure the angle of the hose eyelets allows a smooth fluid path without twisting the line.

Fresh Crush Washers: Always use brand new copper or aluminum crush washers (two per banjo bolt: one on each side of the hose fitting) during installation. Reusing old washers frequently leads to microscopic fluid leaks.

Steering & Suspension Clearance: Once installed, turn the handlebars fully from lock-to-lock and compress the front forks. Verify that the brake line does not get pinched, kinked, stretched tightly, or rub against moving components like the front tire or mudguard.

Thorough Bleeding: After securing the line, fill the reservoir with the manufacturer-recommended brake fluid (DOT 3, DOT 4, or DOT 5.1). Bleed the system completely until all air bubbles are eliminated and a firm, solid feel is restored to your brake lever.
