Universal Fitment Profile

The RCB M8 series is designed to be highly adaptable across various motorcycle makes and models:

1. Hollow Aftermarket Handlebars: Drops seamlessly into standard 22mm (7/8 inch) aftermarket hollow aluminum or steel handlebars (such as Renthal, Protaper, or RCB custom handle tubes) using the included internal expanding rubber sleeves or metal anchor wedges.

2. Threaded OEM Handlebars: Can be retrofitted directly to factory internally-threaded handlebars by utilizing the appropriate corresponding mounting bolt length and thread pitch matching your motorcycle’s internal handlebar weights.

Installation Guidelines

• Throttle Side Clearance Check: When mounting on the right-hand (throttle) side, ensure there is a clear 1–2mm gap between the balancer’s inner shoulder and the rubber handle grip edge. If clamped completely flush, the balancer will pin the throttle sleeve, preventing it from snapping shut safely when released.

• Threadlocker Application: Handlebars are subject to constant engine and road vibration. It is highly recommended to apply a drop of medium-strength blue threadlocker (e.g., Loctite 242) onto the mounting bolt threads before final tightening to prevent the balancers from backing out.

• Anti-Seize Protection: Applying a microscopic layer of anti-seize or grease to the shaft of the mounting bolt prevents the steel fastener from binding or galvanic-welding into the handlebar interior over years of wet-weather riding.
