Installation Guidelines

Retain Factory Pivot Sleeves: When removing your stock Yamaha levers, take care not to lose the internal brass pivot collar or spring mechanisms. Transfer them cleanly to the new RCB S3 assemblies to maintain zero vertical lever wobble.

Align the ABS Micro-Switches: During installation, double-check that the actuator tabs on the RCB levers align cleanly with the small plastic electronic pins on your handlebar switch pods (the starter safety switch on the clutch and the brake light switch on the master cylinder).

Lubricate Pivot Points: Apply a light layer of high-quality waterproof grease onto the pivot bolt pins before final tightening. This ensures a buttery-smooth lever return and prevents premature friction wear.

Verify Clutch Freeplay: After mounting the clutch lever, verify that your clutch cable still has 2 to 3mm of freeplay at the bracket to prevent the clutch plates from slipping under load.
